Just as you have become accustomed to seeing Facebook’s little blue “f” icon on marketing collateral for every business from restaurants to real estate agents, go ahead and familiarize yourself with the QR code. As these “quick response codes” have already taken off for big brands such as Pepsi, McDonald’s, Ford and Best Buy, the Mississippi market is just beginning to latch on to the idea of simply pointing and clicking to do a number of things: get contact information, open any URL, like a Facebook page or compose an email or text message.
